Simon Harrison, MCBI, CEPA, CM&AP, FMVA Founder & Principal Advisor

Simon founded BlackOak Business Advisors with a singular mission: to stop business owners from leaving money on the table due to a lack of preparation.

With over ten years of experience in the high-stakes world of business brokerage, Simon has been involved in deals across a wide range of industries. Prior to his brokerage career, he spent several years in Senior Management Consulting roles and was a self-employed business owner himself. This unique background allows him to look at a company through the lens of an operator, a consultant, and a dealmaker.

He has seen firsthand why some businesses sell for record-breaking prices while others, often with similar revenue, fail to sell at all. He realized that by the time an owner calls a broker, it is often too late to fix the structural issues that kill deals. Today, he uses his award-winning experience to solve this problem "upstream," partnering with owners months or years before their exit to turn their operations into high-performance assets.
